Gunnison County, 1,100 Acres
This ranch is located north of Paonia, Colorado and lies adjacent to approximately 15,000 acres of BLM and Forest ground. This ranch has been in the same family since 1920. The ranch is remotely located back 8 miles off the nearest paved road. A large resident herd is located here, with the general migration coming off Electric Mountain near or over the ranch. An excellent trail system on the ranch and continuing onto the surrounding forest for easy access to and back are in place. Although the deeded ground is only 1,100 acres. This property is surrounded by prime Elk hunting with very limited access to the general public.

The Lodge & Camping
This is a big game only property, tent and trailer camping is permitted in designated areas for the various big game seasons.
The lodge is a two story 5,000 sq. ft. hunting lodge built specifically for hunting. A restaurant style kitchen, running potable water, 3 indoor bathrooms with showers, 120 VAC electrical system, 22 two person bedrooms with independent baseboard electric heat with individual thermostats located in each room. Large second story deck and large walk-out patio provide outdoor covered relaxation. In the center of the ground floor is a 15 ft. circular field stone fire place running up through the center of the building. Aside from very high quality elk hunting this property is set up to provide the highest comfort when not in the field.

Directions
In Carbondale, at the intersection of Hwy 82 (coming from Glenwood Springs) and Hwy 133 - Go south 32.4 miles on Hwy 133 from this intersection, over McClure pass to the Colbran exit which tees into Hwy 133 and is a gravel road. (Slow down at the base of the pass and look for it on your right - or you will fly right by it) Go west 3.3 miles, you will see a gate on the south side (your left) which is marked, take this road 3 miles south to the property. A special note on these directions: The gravel road going to COLBRAN will be very clearly marked on the highway and it is right across from Jacobs Ranch.
